Summer Camps
The General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) established the Ridge Haven Conference and RetreatCenter in 1978 as a year-round ministry outreach to individuals, families, churches, PCA and other ministry organizations. The purpose of Ridge Haven camp is to provide Bible-based, Christ-centered programs and activities that will minister to and enable each camper, counselor, camp staff, and camp-related guest, to glorify God and fully enjoy Him. Ridge Haven offers a Biblical world-view through speakers, counselors, and leaders and Christ is exalted above all else. Their commitment is to honor Christ and build up His Church while providing a week of fun-filled days and nights for children and youth. Students are challenged by the claims of Christ and to discover how a personal relationship with Jesus can change lives. Young people can choose between cabin camping and tent camping, rafting, wall-climbing, and hiking on the Appalachian Trail. The schedule of camps can be found online at www.ridgehaven.org.
